Still working with the ideas of "Embrace" but expressed through the face as opposed to the figure. A very quiet piece, but with much going on underneath the serene expression. This piece was difficult to title, because I see so many possibilities in her gesture. Could be peaceful, joyful, grieving, sensual, we don't know, but the posture of the deep-feeling is recognizable to all of us. Whatever her feelings are, her expression shows that she is very deeply in them, surrendered to them.
